Henry Hudson Henry Hudson was a famous explorer and navigator. He was born in 1565 and died in 1611. He was an English man how. He was famous for the Hudson River, Hudson Strait and Hudson Bay (where he went). 1 Voyage In1607 he was hired by the Moscovy Company, they gave him a crew of 20 men and an old ship called the Hopewell. He was tiring to find a way to china and Japan through the North Pole. In 1607 he reached Greenland but went feather north. It was freezing on de4ck and he was forced to go back to England by his crew. 2 voyage In 1608 the Moscovy Company sent him again in the Hopewell through the north of Russia to find rote. Conditions were terrible it was just too cold to go on. In 1608 he went back to England. On august 28th the comany let him go(he was faired). Voyage 4 Henry Hudson had tried for 3 times now and this was his last chance. On his last trip he took his son John with him. He had his bout ‘Half Moon’. At all the trips he had gone on it always been something wrong like he crashed in to Greenland and they didn’t have any food but on his 4th trip he didn’t do ANY mistake except one thing he DIED! It took one year to try to find they way to go too Far East.First he went up to Greenland and went under it then he went to North America and in to a flood and now in 2009 the floods name is Hudson River in Canada! After 1 year some men put him and his son and some other crewmen on a bout. They didn’t know with way they went so they came close to Greenland and Greenland is the coldest country EVER so they died!!
